    Hey Joshua,

I enjoyed your articles on the different species in Florida. I live in south Florida and I was wanting to take my son around to look for the chameleons. I was wondering if you could give me some advice on where I could take him to look for them? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks!

      Hi Justin,

Most of the locations are in the papers at the bottom of my articles on them, but I wouldn’t suggest bringing children. One of the locations I was shot at by a landowner (and I wasn’t trespassing, mind you); and one of the other main ones is in a private agricultural area. My suggestion would be to near out in your neighborhood or a nearby patch of trees with a flashlight at night and find knight anoles: they’re just as fun and in every urban area south of Lake O.

    Hi,
It’s neat that you’re a Christian and a herper too-not a very common mix. I too have enjoyed both God and herping in many parts of the world for many a year! I see you’ve been to my area of Illinois(I live in Anna, not far from Pine Hills) and the nearby sand prairies in SE Missouri. I’m actually looking forward to taking a herping trip to Florida myself soon-haven’t been in a long time! By the way, if you’re up here for the migration and would possibly like to meet up let me know. My email is pelesiak@hotmail.com
    Sincerely,
    Steve Karsen

    Hey Steve,

Yes indeed, despite all the pressures otherwise there are a few Christian Herpers. I’ll let you know if I come up at any point, but it probably wouldn’t be until next year. Thanks for reading!
